Florence L. Austraw (Roberts) Amick, 80 of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab. Florence was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Stryker Brady Twp., Williams County, Ohio to the late Stephen L. and Ardice (Werdor) Austraw.
She was educated at Auburn, Ind. High School, John Herron Institute, Indiana University and received her Master’s Degree at Butler University. Florence was a teacher at Greenfield Elementary and an art teacher at Charles A. Beard School Corporation, Knightstown prior to retiring in 1990.
Mrs. Amick is survived by son, John Stephen Roberts; and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Roberts both of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hush W. Amick.
Services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140, with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
