Vivian M. Snyder, 78, was called to be with the Lord on Feb. 3, 2013. Born on Jan. 30, 1935, in Texas Corners, Mich., she was the daughter of Howard Carl and Marion Lucille (Derhammer) Vickery.
On Feb. 10, 1952, Vivian married James A. Snyder. Jim and Vivian enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. She also enjoyed sewing, nascar racing, playing board games, and animals- especially her cats.
Surviving her are her husband, James A. Snyder of Greenfield; daughters, Julie Snyder and Jamie (Ron) Rousch, both of Greenfield; grandchildren, Brandan Michael Hotrum of Portage, Mich., and Bridget Nicolle Montgomery of Greenfield; and great-grandson, Tucker James Montgomery of Greenfield.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Allen Ray Snyder and Franklin James Snyder; daughter, Carolyn Kay Snyder Hotrum; and brother, Wayne Carl Vickery.
Visitation will be from Noon until 2 p.m., on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Reverend David Deem officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
