William H. Johnson, 92, of Greenfield, died Jan. 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He served in the US Army during WWII and was a lifetime member of the VFW.
William is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Phyllis J. Johnson; children Carol Lee Johnson, Robert E. (Linda) Johnson, Gary D. (Jeanne) Johnson, Pamela Sue (Sid) Newman, Terry Lee Johnson, Douglas (Maggie) Johnson, and Todd (Debbie) Johnson; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Jean Stevens and Eva Mae Clapp.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Wayne Johnson and six siblings.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
