Frank Galliher, 95, Lakeland, Fla., former Lapel resident, passed away
Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Palm Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeland. He was born on June 19, 1917, in Paris, Ky., to Ira and Johnnie Galliher.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Viola Galliher; son, Jerry (Sue) Galliher of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Sue Haines of Noblesville; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great- great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Haines; a daughter, Beverly Ann Johnson; and a granddaughter, Jana Morelock.
Graveside was held at 2 p.m on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating and burial will follow.
