Leonard Lewis Pendley, 65, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 9, 1947, in Greenville, Ky. Leonard was the son of Sterlin Levi and Annie Elizabeth (Baker) Pendley.
Surviving him are his son, Nathan Pendley of Greenfield; siblings, Barbara Nell Smith of Beechmont, Naomi (Darrell) Fleming of Beech Creek, Ky., Mary (George) Stevens of Pulaski, Tenn., and Sheila (Terry) Benton and Lawrence (Pat) Pendley, both of Browder, Ky.; and one grandson, Noah Pendley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterlin and Annie Pendley.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. There will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Mud River Union Cemetery in Belton, Ky.
