Alice Mae Moncrief, 82, a resident of Greenfield passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice. She was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Indianapolis, to the late Benjamin and Mary (Gappen) Elliott.
She was a homemaker, bookkeeper for Marsh Supermarkets and a bookkeeper for the Indiana Dept. of Labor. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School, a member of the Greenfield Christian Church and member of the Eastern Star earlier in her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbi (Mike) Barnhart, Dee (Mike) John; son, Mike (Pam) Moncrief, all of Greenfield; six grandchildren, Amy (Nathan) Cash, Michelle (Darrin) Thomas, Shawna (Shawn) Thayer, Jeff (Tiffany) Moncrief, Jeremy (Sarah) John, Carrie Holliday; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moncrief in 2001.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery in Madison County. Visitation will be noon until time of service at the funeral home.
