Beverly Carlton, 85, passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family on Nov. 1, 2012. She was born on Feb. 5, 1927, in Winchester, Ind. and was a graduate of Wilkinson High School.
Beverly retired from Lucent Technologies and was the former owner of CC’s Pizza, in Wilkinson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert; her daughter, Sherry Rigney; son, Jim (Jenny) Carlton; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her parents, Walter and Esther Johns Winn; two brothers, Buddy and Paul Winn; sister, Martha Virginia; and son-in-law Roger Rigney.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2012, at the Liming Family Funeral Home in Shirley. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 6, 2012, with burial to follow at McCray Cemetery. Gary Sickle officiating.
