Helena Gray Faut, 92, Greenfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday Oct. 22, 2012. Helena was born July 25, 1920, in Greenfield to Frank E Gray and Mayme Wright Gray and lived her lifetime in New Palestine.
She worked at Naval Avionics as a cost accountant, retiring in 1981. Helena was a graduate of Greenfield High School class of 1938, and was a member of the New Palestine United Methodist Church.
She is survived by husband, George Frederick Faut of New Palestine; a son, James Faut of Knightstown; daughter, Jeanne Jenkins and Nancy Faut of New Palestine; sister, Dorothy Poland; and many neices and nephews.
Helena was preceded in death by daughter, Karen Faut ; son-in-law, Jerry Jenkins; and parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m Friday at Hendryx Funeral Services, 19 East Main St., New Palestine, with services at 2 p.m. on Saturday with calling one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery.
