Gayle Lawson, 73, of Greenfield, died on Oct. 9, 2012, in Greenfield. Born on May 13, 1939, in Monticello, Ky., she was the daughter of Edward and Anna (Brown) Shelton.
Surviving her are her daughters, Stacey (Luke) Pauley of Mooresville and Deanne (Christopher) Hiett of Indianapolis; brothers, Ralph Shelton of Monticello, KY, and Herbert Shelton of Lexington, KY; sisters, Rayanna Eller of Monticello, KY, Marlene (R.A.) Anderson of Greenfield, Noretta Padgett of Greenfield, and Letha Shepherd of Kansas City, Kan.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Otha Shelton and Leonard Shelton; and sister, Pearl Perdew.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, from 4 -8 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at 11a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
