Joanna L. Manis, 73, of McCordsville, died on Sept. 8, 2012, at home. She was born on April 2,1939, to the late Robert and Ermyl (Rhoades) Werking in New Castle.
Joanna is survived by her husband, Bill R. Manis; son, Cary Manis of Fortville; daughter, Dianna (David) McCarty of McCordsville; four grandchildren; and brothers, Robert (Ruth) Werking of Marion; Charles (Phyllis) Werking of Straughn; Daniel (Pat) Werking of Santa Claus; and Mark (Linda) Werking of Hagerstown.
Friends may call at 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
