Ralph Lee (Tom) Conner, 85, of Kennard, died on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle. He was born Nov. 26, 1926 in Shirley, Indiana and is the son of the late Charles A. and Katherine (Judd) Conner.
He is survived by three daughters, Vickie Akers of New Castle, Connie (David) Freeman-Baker of Lewisville, and Norma Jean (Steven) Flynn of Gainesville, GA; a son, Alfred Conner of Defiance, OH.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great -grandchildren; 3 great- great- grandchildren; a brother, John Conner, of Macon, GA; two step children, Pam (Mick) McGee, Jeff Oldon; three step grandchildren and two step great -grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Ruth Conner; and one brother, Dalton Conner.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, in the Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
