M. Eleanor (Rowe) Eastes, 90, of Kokomo, Ind. passed away on Wednesday Aug. 15, 2012, at the Northwood Village Nursing Home in Kokomo. She was born on March 21, 1922, in Indianapolis, to the late Arthur F. and Jenny Mae (Suiters) Rowe.
Eleanor was a Sales Clerk for the Danner Brothers and Ben Franklin Stores in Greenfield. She retired from The Indiana Knitware Company.
She is survived by sons, Edward Eastes of Kokomo, Gary Eastes of Pendleton; grandchildren, Darrin, David, Sam, Jr., Carroll, Barb, Tanya, Khristina, Kelly, Gary Jr., Brandon, Johnny Ray and Shannon; sister, Jenny May Taylor of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by husband, William E. Eastes; brother, John Rowe; and sister, Margret Cox.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday Aug. 20, 2012, at the Stillinger Family Funeral home Pasco Chapel in Greenfield. Graveside Service is at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Aug. 21, 2012, at the Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Burial will be at the Park Cemetery.
