Clyde E. Crockett, 71, of Fortville, passed away on July 21, 2012. He was born on Oct. 21, 1940, in Ono Ridge, Ky. He was the son of Ed Lee Crockett and Sadie Crockett Johnson.
Surviving him are his wife, Mary Crockett of Fortville; children, Mike (Sally) Crockett of Fortville, Tammy (Randy) King of Anderson, David (Kelly) Crockett of Fortville, Sherry (Wesley) Hope of Indianapolis, Kelly Crockett of Castleton, Tim (Nancy) Crockett of Fortville, and Mandy Crockett of Fortville; siblings, Euclyd Crockett, Wanda Butler, Evelyn Spencer, Glenda Kennedy, Betty Castro, Vern Burton, and Marsha Polston; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Don Crockett, Hubert Crockett, Ronnie Crockett, and Jeffrey Crockett; and grandson, Michael Crockett.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
