Margaret E. Richardson Runion, 96, a resident of Greenfield, passed away on Monday June 18th, 2012, at Kearns Care in Greenfield. She was born June 6, 1916, in Centerville, to Manford Richardson and Etta Margaret (Hannagan) Richardson.

 She graduated from Charlottesville High School and married Floyd N. Runion September 25, 1936, and she worked beside him as a Hancock County farmer’s wife. She was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church, Shelby County Western Riders, Hoosier Acres Saddle Club, Indiana Trail Riders, Indiana Pinto Horse Association, and was a leader of Hancock County 4-H horse and pony club. She was an avid quilter and loved to crochet, and loved to go camping and feed birds.

 She is survived by her two sons, Dean (Mary) Runion of Greenfield, and Dick (Margie) Runion of Boulder City, Nev.; her two daughters, Wyneta Duncan of Greenfield and Becki (George) Meek of Columbus, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her mother; father; husband; her sister, Martha Freeman; brother, Tom Richardson; and half-brother, Robert Kenworthy.

 Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 28th. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29th, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, Ind. Burial will follow at Park cemetery, Greenfield.
