Anthony Tyler Skaggs, 23, of Greenfield, passed away on April 9, 2012. Born on Feb. 4, 1989, in Greenfield, he was the son of James and Cheryl (Gray) Skaggs.

Anthony graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 2007, and worked at Game Stop in Greenfield and Indianapolis. He also worked at Speck’s Pet Supplies as the fish department manager for two years. Anthony was a lifelong animal lover and fisherman. He loved computer games and World of Warcraft.

Surviving him are his parents, Jim and Cheryl Skaggs of Greenfield; sisters, Catherine Petzold of Peru and Carrie Skaggs of Greenfield; niece and nephews, Logan, Paul, and Rebecca; great-grandfather, Donald Gray of Noblesville; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Sadie.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the mortuary. Pastor Andrew Comley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
