Reuel W. Bennett Jr., 86, of Indianapolis, died on Feb. 22, 2012, the son of Reuel W. Sr. and Robirda S. (Apple) Bennett.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys M. Bennett; son, Jerry W. (Bonnie) Bennett; daughter, Susan M. Dupuis; half-brother, Harvey P. Bennett; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E. Washington St. and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Church. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2012, in St. John United Church of Christ, 11000 E. Washington St. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
