Esther “Kadie” Coulombe, 51, of Indianapolis, died on Feb. 13, 2012, at her home. Born on Dec. 2, 1960, in Bowling Green, Ky., she was the daughter of John and Carolyn Louise (Border) Thompson.
Surviving her are her husband, Joe Coulombe of Indianapolis; parents, John and Carolyn Thompson of Brownsville, Ky.; children, Jeremiah (Erica) Kortz of Cumberland, Amos Kortz of Indianapolis, Aaron Kortz of Indianapolis, and Matthew (Amber) Kortz of Morristown; siblings, Pamela (Pete) Robbins of Indianapolis, Johnnie Thompson III of Indianapolis, Brenda (Dale) Whitt of Indianapolis, and Lincoln (Carrie) Thompson of Morristown; and nine grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents,Gene and Alice Border and John Wesley and Lela Thompson; sister, Linda Joy Thompson; and sister-in-law, Anna Coulombe-Bennett.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will take place at noon on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at the mortuary. Burial will take place at Milroy Cemetery.
