Kent R. Wallsmith, 55, of New Palestine, passed away at his home. Born on Aug. 24,1956, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Gar J. and Barbara L. (Johnson) Wallsmith.
Kent graduated from Lawrence Central High School and worked as a Sales Manager at Prime Pay in Indianapolis for 17 years.
Surviving him are his brother, Dirk E. (Debbie) Wallsmith of Brownsburg; aunt, Layne (Alan) Sipole; and uncle, Ed (Marsha) Johnson.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Visitation will take place from noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. A Memorial Service in memory of Kent will begin at 1 p.m.
