David Woodruff, age 55, of Terre Haute, formerly of Greenfield passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at his residence. Born Jan. 10, 1956, the son of Donald Joe and Maxine Woodruff.
He graduated Greenfield Central High School in 1974. David and his wife Marie (Wells) lived for several years in Tula Rosa, N.M.
David is survived by his wife, Marie of Terre Haute; daughters, LeeAnn Woodruff of Indianapolis, Cholena of St.Louis, Kachina of St.Louis; sons, David Jr. of Tenn., and Nathaniel of Tacoma, Wash.; father, Donald Joe (Wilma) of Greenfield; sister, Debera Broyles (Mike) of Greenfield; brother, Larry Woodruff (Deborah) of Greenfield; step-sister, Betty Hancock of Greenfield; step-brother, Daryl Hancock (Phillis) of Wis.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine; brother, Vernon Joe; and twin sisters.
A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Assembly of God in Terre Haute, 600 Hulman Street, with Rev. Patrick Newton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory.
