Nellie Beatrice McCormick, age 88, of Mulberry, Ind., died at 4:20 pm. on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011. Born in Princeton, Ind., on Feb. 1, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Posey Brittingham and Zelia (Shoultz) Brittingham.
She resided in Tippecanoe County for 57 years and had resided in Mulberry, Ind. the past 7 years. She was married to the late Glenn Fowler McCormick on May 14, 1945 in Clifton, New Jersey.
Surviving her are children, Richard (Debra) McCormick, retired and traveling, Susan (Larry) Gresh of Greenfield, Ind., and David (Barb) McCormick of Holland, Mich.; grand children, Matthew McCormick, Susan Rose McCormick, Evan Gresh, Nathan Gresh; great grandchild, Gracie McCormick; and brother Robert Dale Brittingham of Madison, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irma Lucille Reed and Ethel Nadine Hedge.
Interment to follow at a later date at United Methodist Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, Mt. Olive, Ind.
