Betty J. (Conner) Eddy, age 77, passed away on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Community North Hospital. Born on Jan. 26, 1934, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Howard and Idella (Jones) Conner.
Betty graduated from Knightstown High School in 1952 and married Thomas “Tom” H. Eddy on July 6, 1952. She worked for Citizens National Bank for over 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Eddy was a 50 year member of Knightstown United Methodist Church. She also loved reading and playing Bridge.
Surviving her are her husband, Tom Eddy of Greenfield; children, Sue (George) Barber of Mt. Summit, Ind., Thomas Eddy III of Greenfield, Nancy (Patrick) Dillon of Indianapolis; sister, Barbara (John) Tice of Knightstown; many grandchildren; and twin great-granddaughters.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Howard and Idella Conner; and sister, Evelyn Goss.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.
