Shannon Leah Perry, age 43, of Greenfield, went home to be with her Lord at 6:17 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, after an extended illness. She was born on Oct. 2, 1968, in Knoxville, Tenn., and lived most of her life in this area.

Shannon graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1986 and from Indiana Business College and Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics. She worked for the Spring Hurst Health Campus and was a member of Community Vineyard Church, both of Greenfield.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Perry, of Greenfield; her mother, Linda Stone King, of Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Shawn and Tara King of Pendleton; nieces, Ashley Morgan, Gracie Nicole King; mother-in-law, Diane Perry; aunts and uncles, Barbara Smythe, Dick and Debbie Ranné, Cooki Byrge, Kathy Read, Brenda K. Van Dergrift, Leroy Stone, Rick Stone, Barnis King, Bethel King; and close friend, Jay Sniegowski.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roland King; sister, Lesa Michelle King; and aunt, Julie Ranné.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at Community Vineyard Church, 1672 N. 600 W., Greenfield, with Revs. Rick Frances and Rick Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.

 The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Mathison and staff for all their care and concerns.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
