Martha Morgan, age 86, of Greenfield, Ind., died on Sept. 24, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospital. Born on June 13, 1925, in Bardstown, Ky., Martha was the daughter of Lucian and Allis (Hutchions) Crowe. A homemaker, Martha worked as a hairdresser for several years.
Martha is survived by her son, Mark A. Morgan (Julie) of McCordsville; brother, Kenneth Crowe (Brenda); two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Besides her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Morgan; and her daughter, Linda Janett Alders.
Friends may call from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington Street. A service will begin at 2 p.m. and Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, in Greenfield, Ind.
