Geneva (Wilburn) Wilson, age 85, of McCordsville, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born on Feb. 10, 1926, in Grahn, Ky., to the late John and Letha M. (James) Wilburn.
Geneva was a homemaker, member of the Bridge Church in Fortville and a former member of the McCordsville Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 156.
She is survived by sons, Michael (Bev) Wilson and Tim (Candy) Wilson, of McCordsville; grandchildren, Tony (Lena) Wilson, Kurt Wilson, Kris Jones, Todd (Lisa) Wilson, Tricia (Jim) Gaddis, Russell Wilson, Stacey (Dan) Wilson and Matt (Lindsey) Wilson; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Ercel R. Wilson in 1998; and her son Chris Wilson in 2005.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fortville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
