Martha L. Cassiday, age 92, of Anderson, Ind., died on Aug. 24, 2011, at St. John’s Hospital in Anderson, Ind. She was born on Dec. 25, 1918, to the late William and Elizabeth Reeves in Rush County.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Anne (Curt) Pittinger of Richmond, Ind.; son, Richard (Dorinda) Cassiday of Anderson, Ind.; sisters, Mary Ruth Strain and Dorcus Canary; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Raymond Cassiday; and sister, Katherine Bombaugh.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, and one hour prior to services on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at Condo and Son Funeral Home of Wilkinson. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the funeral home, officiated by Benjamin Cassiday. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery near Mays in Rush County.
