Delores R. "Mom" Kemper, age 90, a resident of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on June 27, 1921, in Hamilton County, Ind. to the late Walter Ramsey and Amanda (Suits) Ramsey-Tomaw.
She was a graduate of Maxwell High School and retired in 1974 from Western Electric of Indianapolis. On Aug. 16, 1969, she married Robert Kemper. She was a member of the Greenfield V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary where she was very active with the Clothe-A-Child program. She loved playing Bingo, crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Kemper of Greenfield; daughters, Donna (Donald) Campbell of New Whiteland, Ind., and Mary Earlywine of Liberty, Ind.; sons, Benny (Tamara) Robbins of Greenfield, and Duane Kemper of Columbus, Ind.; brothers, Ed and Leon Ramsey of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Lambert.
The family will receive friends at 12 noon on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the Greenfield VFW, 529 N. Apple St. Arrangements are by Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.
