Sue Ann Wall, age 45, passed away on Aug. 14, 2011, at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson after an extended illness. She was born on July 11, 1966, in Anderson, the daughter of Alton (Bud) Wall and Peggy (Scott) Wall and was a lifelong Pendleton resident.
She was a former dispatcher for Indiana State Police Post 51 and for Carmel EMS and Fire Department. She loved helping others. She volunteered with the Pendleton Emergency Ambulance for over 27 years. She was an EMT and crew chief. She was a trained member of the Anderson Community Critical Incident Stress Team (ACCIST) for over ten years.
Survivors include her parents, Bud and Peggy Wall; aunts, Penny Jones and Martha Dyal; uncle, Jim Wall; nephew, David Wall, Jr.; cousins, Terrie (Bill) McCorkle, Mike (Shawna) Wallace, Jeff Wall, and Angie (AJ) Jones; and special friends, Lisa and Martha Wallace and Jodi Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David L. Wall; cousin, James Wall; uncle, Melvin Wall; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, and one hour prior to services on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at the funeral home. The funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, in Pendleton with Reverend Rodney Eiler officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
