Michael J. Silence, Sr., 67, of Greenfield, died Sunday, June 26, 2011. The son of Gunthrie J. and Mary Belle (Taulman) Silence, Michael was born Feb. 25, 1944, in Indianapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Silence; sons, Michael Silence, Jr., Jason Titara and Charles (C.J.) Silence; daughters, Kathy Thomson, Candi Ettinger, Kim Bryan and Starr Titara; brothers, Ronald, Brian and Chuck Silence; sisters, Lois Sprinkle and Mary Stroman; 17 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel, 11636 E Washington St. Friends may call after 5 p.m. until the time of services.
