Nella E. Rieman(McConnell), age 91, born to Christian and Zoe(Kelly) McConnell on March 16, 1920 in Lawrence County, Ind., passed away June 23, 2011.
Nella was a former member of Agape Christian Church and attended Fortville Nazarene Church. She was also a member of the Castleton Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxillary.
She is survived by her children, Nella Lynn Blunk of Paragon, Ind., Dorothy Cheshier of Greenfield and Chris Rieman(partner David Fowler) of Cathedral City, Calif.; grandchildren, Sandra LaVoy, Timothy Tyler, Lori(Gary) Fouts, Kevin Cheshier, Amy Thompson; great grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Jacob, Derrick, Dylan, Samuel; sisters, Dorothy Bailey, Dema McCord; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Rieman (Prickett); granddaughter, Lisa Jones, sisters, Christina Sparks and Doris Crossland.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Old Oaklandon Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Edwards, officiating. Memorials may be given to the donor’s favorite charity.
