Nehemiah “NEMO” James Walton, age 23, of Anderson, passed away on Monday Feb. 21, 2011, in Greenfield. He was born on Feb. 24, 1987, in Henry County, Ind., the son of Dennis Walton and Kathy (Worthington) Ebbing.
Nehemiah was a 2008 graduate from the Greensburg Christian Academy. He loved working on cars, computers and playing video games.
He is survived by father, Dennis (Debbie) Walton of Greenfield; mother, Kathy (Steve) Ebbing of Indianapolis; sister, Jacquelin Walton (Fiance’ Chris Stelley) of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Gene and Judy Worthington of New Castle; six step – brothers and sisters, Brandon (Crystal) Giles of Ky., Phillip Giles of Va., Amber Baker of Ky., Amanda, Danielle and Jared Ebbing all of Indianapolis; cousin, Scott Gaddis of Shelbyville, several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Shirley Walton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Rev. Roger Kinion will officiate the service. Burial will be conducted at a later time.
