WEST ALEXANDRIA, OH
Joyce Lynne Crump Steelman, 66 of West Alexandria Ohio, passed away on February 26, 2023 at 6:02am after a short battle with cancer. She went peacefully at Reid Health Hospital in Richmond Indiana.
Joyce was born August 24,1956 to Doris Howell Crump and Richard F. Crump. She was the oldest of 6 children, she went to Eastern Hancock and Greenfield High. She studied and received her bachelor of science in nursing. She had a daughter (DeeAnn) in 1974 then she met Ronald Steelman they got married in 1975. Together they had 2 more children (Robert &Christina) while living in Hollywood Florida.
Joyce was predeceased by Doris Howell Crump, Ronald Steelman, Richard F. Crump, and Casey Antle. She is survived by 4 siblings Sandra Crump Barnhill, Travis Crump, Mike Crump and Shawn Crump. Her life long best friend Linda Thompson Sexton. Her 3 children DeeAnn Steelman, Robert Steelman, and Christina Steelman. 5 Grandchildren Crystal Hurst, Jackson Keldsen, Nylah Garcia, Leilah Garcia, Lijah Garcia. And aslo 3 Great Grandchildren Shyne Steelman, William Develyn Hurst, Addysyn Hurst.
She lived in West Alexandria Ohio in the country on a farm. She loved living in the country, and her absolute passion was horses. She loved to care for and ride them. She also liked to garden. But there was nothing she loved more than her Grandbabies..
