Ronald Alan Weber, 71, of Greenfield, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. Ron was born on May 10, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan to Raymond &Dorothy (Rebuehr) Weber. He graduated from Reese High School in Reese, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971-1975 during the Vietnam War, receiving the National Defense Service Award, Marksman M-16 Badge, and Good Conduct Medal.

Ron was a strong main of faith. As an infant, he was born and confirmed in St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville, Michigan and attended the Lutheran primary school within the church. Ron married the love of his life, Connie (Jackson) Weber on November 27, 1976, in Greenfield. Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed all sports, but especially football and golf. Ron also enjoyed working with tools and building all sorts of things.

Ron is survived by his son, Jason Weber; sisters, Kathleen E. Murphy; Ellen J. VanWormer (James); Karen A. Rose (Richard); Jayne M. Kruska (Kenneth); Cynthia L. Weber (Wellesley Periera); grandchildren, Robbie, Annabelle, and Violet; special niece, Amanda Everidge; and several other nieces and nephews. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Janice Winton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow visitation at 12:00pm also at the mortuary. Dr. Richard Blue will officiate. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis where military honors will be rendered.
