PLANT CITY, FLORIDA
Mark Wesley Butcher (to some Butch or Mr. Man) Age 57 passed away at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida on December 13, 2022 where he had resided for the past 6 years. Mark was originally from Greenfield, IN, a graduate of Greenfield Central High School class of 1983. Mark also had 2 degrees from Ivy Tech in Heating and Air Conditioning and a Indiana Real Estate Brokers License. Mark began his career with Love Heating and A/C, Indianapolis and then joined Muegge Plumbing and Heating, Greenfield, IN for approx. 30 years. He also was a part time Real Estate Broker with Re/Max Realty Group for several years. In his spare time he was always working on fixing something, be it a car, garbage disposal or lawn mower. Mark could fix anything.
Mark was a fun, loving and devoted husband, son, father and grandfather. He always greeted you with a warm hug and a big smile. Mark had a big heart and a very soft spot in his heart for the elderly. Mark would do anything for anyone if they needed help.
Mark was an avid race car fan and Colts fan. He enjoyed golfing and most of all Lake Tippecanoe. He grew up behind the boat on waterskis and could put on quite a show. He also enjoyed all the other water sports. Mark’s favorite holiday was the 4th of July at Lake Tippy. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Clark Butcher; mother and step father, Toni and Mark Dudley of Greenfield; daughter, Taylor M. Butcher of Ridgeville, IN; son, A.J. Butcher of Indpls. IN; grandsons Xavier and Kayne Clark of Ridgeville, IN; granddaughter, Aurora Moore of Ridgeville IN; stepson, Catlin Lester of Greenfield IN; step daughter Kristina Russell of Ft. Mead FL; and lifetime close friends, Earl Watkins of Spring Grove, PA and Mark Keith of New Palestine, IN.
