FORTVILLE
Kenneth Jay Wallsmith, 63, of Fortville, passed away on November 3, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1959, in Greenfield, IN to Eugene D. and Pauline M. (Peacock) Wallsmith.
Kenneth graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1977. He retired from Kroger, and he also worked as a maintenance technician for Taylor Distributing. He was a member and past president of Sons of the American Legion Post 391 and belonged to the Men’s Auxiliary of VFW Post 6904. He enjoyed gardening and talking smack to friends and family.
He is survived by his son Andrew Wallsmith of Fortville and brother Dennis (Debbie) Wallsmith of McCordsville. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steven Wallsmith.
At Kenneth’s request a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life for Kenny will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Fortville VFW Post #6904 206 S.
