On Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, Heaven gained another Angel. Anna May Reeves went to be with her heavenly Father and join all her loved ones who had gone before her.
Born Anna May Shannon on July 27, 1933 to Lowell and Mary Shannon, in Belmont, OH. On August 28, 1954, she married her one true love, Elmer Reeves. She cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She loved cooking for and spending time with family and friends. No one entered or left her house without a hug. She always said, “Everyone can use a hug.” She enjoyed making everyone feel welcome and loved. Anna also enjoyed reading and working cross word and word search puzzles.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 4 brothers-in-law; and 1 sister-in-law.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, David (Cherie) Reeves and Greg (Jill) Reeves; daughters, Karen (Chris) Core and Lora (Mike) Shepherd; grandchildren, Amanda, Brandi, Brittany, Sydney, Matthew, and Jarod; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Autumn; numerous nieces and nephews; and 2 sisters-in-law.
