Recovery walk scheduled for Sept. 17

GREENFIELD – The eighth annual Hancock County Recovery Walk is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in downtown Greenfield.

The event, hosted by The Landing Place, will begin registration at 7:45 a.m.; resource tables open at 8 a.m. The event, at Depot Street Park, will include live music, food trucks, bounce house, dunk tank and photo booth.

MOPS carnival scheduled

GREENFIELD – Mothers of Preschoolers will host a carnival from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 26 at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road, Greenfield.

MOPS, part of MOPS International, hosts regular meetings, events and play dates to support and encourage women who have children from birth through kindergarten. Murphy gas customers may donate to charity

GREENFIELD – People who pump gas at Murphy USA (Walmart) will have the opportunity to contribute to a local charity.

Murphy USA is offering customers a chance to make a monetary contribution at checkout to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County. The “Great Futures are Fueled Here” campaign runs now through Nov. 1. Customers are able to round up or donate $1, $5 or $10 at the register.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hancock County provides a safe place for children and teens to learn and grow, offering mentors, fun and friendship during non-school hours.
