HANCOCK COUNTY — Seth Hamilton will begin as the new director of technology for the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation on July 1, according to a news release from the corporation.
Hamilton comes to Mt. Vernon from the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township, where he served 10 years in leadership roles with the technology department. He began his career with six years as a kindergarten and third-grade teacher in Carmel.
After teaching elementary school, Hamilton moved into the instructional technology specialist role for a brief time at Carmel Clay Schools before moving to MSD Washington Township as the technology integration specialist and finally, the technology integration coordinator.
Hamilton replaces Greg Rollo.
