Melissa Sue Murphy Carr, 39 of Bowling Green, passed away on June 9, 2022 in Bowling Green, KY. She was born on December 16, 1982 in Rushville to Samuel Keith and Linda Sue (Senour) Murphy. Melissa was a 2001 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. She detailed cars at Cheetah’s Clean Car Wash. Melissa was a member of Little Flatrock Christian Church. She enjoyed boating, swimming and playing softball and volleyball. Melissa loved spending time with her children.
Melissa is survived by her parents, Samuel Keith and Linda Sue (Senour) Murphy; son, Austin Joseph Carr and daughter, Avery Sue Carr; brothers, Brian Keith Murphy of Milroy and Greg Aaron &wife, Amy Murphy of Greenfield.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 11 AM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Patrick Smith presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family Tuesday evening from 4 PM-8PM in the mortuary.
