GREENFIELD — Officials with the Greenfield Fire Territory recognized top performers within the department during its annual award ceremony April 1, showcasing individuals who went above and beyond in 2021.

The list of winners and those recognized included 5 Year Service Award, firefighter Travis Varga; 10 Year Service Award, firefighter Adam Lewman; 15 Year Service Award, firefighters Jeff Dixon, Anthony Evans and Christopher Myers.

The Unit Commendation awards went to battalion chief John Woods, firefighters Jason O’Neal, Andrew Heller, A.J. Lewman, Claude Hedlund, Luke Eichholtz, Jimmy Burns and Adam Leonard.

The Silver Life Saving Award went to firefighter/paramedic Bob James. Instructor of the Year was firefighter/paramedic Adam Leonard while the Rookie of the Year was firefighter/paramedic Eran Uptegrove.

The Paramedic of the Year was firefighter/paramedic Damon Mack. Firefighter of the Year went to firefighter/paramedic Bob James.

Officer of the Year was given to battalion chief John Woods. The Fire Chief’s Award went to division chief Steve Kropacek and the Scott Compton Memorial Virtue Award was given to firefighter Jimmy Burns.
