GREENFIELD – Spring has sprung in Hancock County, and family-friendly Easter activities are just around the corner.
The next three weekends are filled with events to fill your basket with candy and fun, from egg hunts to religious events to honor the holiday.

April 2
Sensory-friendly Easter Event, 1-3 p.m., 5999 W. Memory Lane, Greenfield, hosted by Developmental Disabilities Systems Inc.; www.facebook.com/events/401402685161958.
April 9
Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Indy Pub Club, 9 a.m., Mt. Comfort Elementary School, 5694 W. 300N., Greenfield. Cost is $5 per person and guarantees 15 eggs, $7 at the door; donuts available for purchase and a basket will be raffled. Proceeds will help purchase books at the Mt. Comfort Elementary library and go toward other programs that benefit children in Hancock County. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling 317-326-8656.
Greenfield-Central High School Spring Bazaar and egg hunt, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield. Event features spring shopping with home decor, prom accessories, Easter, graduation and Mother’s Day items; sponsored by G-CHS Family Career and Community Leaders of America. An “inclusive” egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. and is sponsored by Families United for Support and Encouragement. The Easter bunny will be on site from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Piney Acres Easter Egg Hunt, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m., Piney Acres Farm, 1115 E. 1000N., Fortville; tickets at $5 to $15 must be purchased in advance at pineyacresfarm.com/events. Tickets are also available for breakfast or lunch with the Easter bunny, ranging from $8 to $10.
Community Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. to noon, Cumberland Lions Park, 301 Buck Creek Road, Cumberland. Event includes a bounce house, face painting and food; bring your own basket.
Journey to the Cross: An Easter Experience for Families. Event includes 45-minute tours to see what the last days of Jesus’ life looked like; 1-4 p.m., Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Road, Greenfield. Registration is suggested (but not required) at parkchapel.org/kids. Tours begin every 10 minutes.
Mt. Comfort Church Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m., 3179 N. 600W., Greenfield. Event includes age-group hunts, crafts, door prizes and the Easter story.
Greenfield Elks Easter Egg Hunt, 11 a.m. to noon, 820 S. State St., Greenfield; event includes several hunting areas divided by ages.
Helicopter Egg Drop, 12:30 p.m. with hunt starting at 1 p.m., Fortville Nazarene Church, 701 S. Maple St., Fortville.
April 16
Riley Park Easter egg hunt, hosted by Bradley United Methodist Church, 10 a.m., Riley Park, Greenfield.
Easter at the Orchard, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuttle Orchard, 5717 N. 300W., Greenfield; visit indianapolisorchard.com/easter-at-the-orchard to reserve a ticket for a 15-minute time slot. Event includes cookie decorating, a craft, goody bag, refreshments and an egg hunt. Cost is $16 for ages ages 2 to 13; $6 for spectators ages 14 and up and includes refreshments.
Town of McCordsville Easter Egg Hunt, noon to 2 p.m., Town Hall Park, 6280 W. 800N., McCordsville. Egg hunt begins promptly at noon; event includes the Easter bunny, prizes, face painting, cookies and lemonade. Bring your own basket and device for photos.
