McCORDSVILLE — The McCordsville Parks Board is completing a five-year update to the town’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan. A draft of that plan can be viewed on the town’s website, mccordsville.org. The town is accepting public comments through Feb. 11. Public comments can be submitted via email to [email protected] or by sending a letter to the town, care of parks plan update, at 6280 W. County Road 800N, McCordsville.
The five-member parks board looks at the feasibility of acquiring, preserving and managing park land within the town. The board will work to establish a network of greenway corridors that interconnect the community and link the multi-use path systems within the town, as well as to work with neighboring municipalities to encourage their linking to the McCordsville multi-use trail system.
