Blood drive set for Thursday

McCORDSVILLE — A community blood drive is set for 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

Walk-in blood donors are welcome.

Youth programs start Sunday

WILKINSON — Children’s and youth programs kick off Sunday at Wilkinson Church of Christ.

Ignite is for kindergartners through fifth-graders and meets from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Fusion is for sixth-graders through high school seniors and also meets from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Church marks anniversary

GREENFIELD — Apostolic Pentecostal Church will celebrate its 57th anniversary in a service at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at the church, 1202 E. Fifth St.

The church dates to Jan. 31, 1965.

It will also mark the 12th pastoral anniversary of Bishop Joseph Riggs.

Grief group meets in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE — Circle of Caring grief support group next meets at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

The group meets in the adult classroom at the end of the hallway by the back door. No registration is required, organizers say; just come as you are, whenever you would like. This group is currently facilitated by John Myrland.
