The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection reports.

Oct. 14

Violations found: C, R – clean knives being stored with dirty knives, corrected; C – employee observed not washing hands after handling money and before putting on food-handling gloves, corrected; NC – no paper towels at hand sink in customer service area to be corrected by Oct. 15; NC – faucet is leaking at hand sink and faucet leaking at mop sink, to be corrected by Nov. 14; NC – wall behind prep table has debris, to be corrected by Nov. 14; NC – employee observed not wearing hair restraint, corrected.
