Blood drive set in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE — A community blood drive is set for 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

Walk-in blood donors are welcome.

Lunch gatherings start Wednesday

WILKINSON — “Russ’s Table” next meets from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 9. It’s a free lunch with friends of any age. The gathering will take place the second Wednesday of each month at Wilkinson Church of Christ.

Grief group meets in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE — Circle of Caring grief support group next meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

The group meets in the adult classroom at the end of the hallway by the back door. No registration is required, organizers say; just come as you are, whenever you would like. This group is currently facilitated by John Myrland.

New Testament Survey continues Monday

GREENFIELD — World Renewal’s Center for Bible and Ministry Studies will offer New Testament Survey, Part 2; it started at 6:30 p.m. Monday and continues weekly at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road. The course is available in person and online.

Tuition is $25 and includes the textbook. Scholarships are available for those who are in need.
