GREENFIELD
David G Wicker Sr. age 73 of Greenfield passed away January 6, 2022 at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL After a brief non-covid illness. Born January 6, 1949 as the son of James E and June Wicker.
David graduated from Eastern Hancock May 22, 1967.
He married Marilyn (Edwards) January 1, 1997.
David worked at the Chrysler Shadeland plant for 16 yrs. Retiring as a local insurance agent after many years of service.
Dave was an avid outdoorsman. He and Marilyn spent many hours fishing, boating and camping together. Dave enjoyed spending time and watching his grandchildren grow.
David is survived by his wife, Marilyn Wicker; Brother, Daryl S. (Anjanatte) Wicker; Son, David (Tonda) Wicker, JR.; Daughter, Michele (Turk) Morgan; Step-children, Matt (Debbie) Matlock, Mandy (Eric) McDaniel, Morgan (Tom) Hill;
Grandchildren, Caleb, Carissa, Dagan, Tanner (Wicker), Michael (Shayla) Hall, Megan (Travis) Varga, Mason, Morgen (Hall); Step-grandchildren Zach, Chase, Brayden, Peyton, Luke, and Hannah; and three great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents James E and June Wicker.
David’s wish was to be cremated.
There will be a celebration of life planned for a later date.
