GREENFIELD — The Martha Beckenholdt Youth Philanthropy Award application process for juniors in high school opens on Jan. 5 and closes Feb. 18.
Finalists will be interviewed March 7.
The recipient of this award will have $1,000 donated in his or her name to a Hancock County nonprofit organization chosen by him or her. The award is named in honor of a longtime Hancock County resident and philanthropist. Martha Beckenholdt died at age 98 in 2014.
Hayden Kovell of Mt. Vernon High School received the 2021 award, benefiting the Fortville Area Resource Mission.
