Letter to the editor: Country failing on worker shortage, immigration

To the editor:

What Mr. Krull wrote in your Nov. 18 edition is not only ridiculous but an insult to the taxpaying citizens of this country (“A system that is divorced from reality,” Page A6). Peter Drucker said, “You cannot manage what you do not measure.” Perhaps we should not pay people to stay home?

What is happening now at the Texas border is criminal, and its effect will never be felt by President Joe Biden because few, if any, of these people will ever move to Delaware. The wall is the stopgap, and the parts are there to complete the it, with cameras, and the fiberoptics. Not finishing the construction is as much of a crime as is our buffoonish president’s leaving all of our military equipment in Afghanistan.

America, you got what you wanted when you voted for a president who ran an election from his basement. In the immortal word of Gen. Anthony McAuliffe… “Nuts!”
