GREENFIELD
Norma Ruth Wright, 86, of Greenfield, passed away at home on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was born on March 12, 1935 in Rockville, IN. Norma worked hard to complete her education to become a Registered Nurse, a lifelong goal that she was very proud to have accomplished. She retired as a Registered Nurse from the Community Health Network and spent many years working directly with Dr. Gary Sharp.
Norma enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening and playing cards. She also enjoyed working out, volunteering at the Hancock County Food Pantry and Red Hat Shenanigans! Norma was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield.
Norma is survived by her children, Cindy (Mark) Weidner, Tony Sullivan, Kenny (Theresa) Sullivan, Randy (Sara) Wright; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Karen Davidson, known to family as Aunt Karen; and her faithful canine companion, Lucy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East with a funeral service immediately following. Norma will be laid to rest with her husband, George Wright, in Washington Park East Cemetery.
