To the editor:
Michael Hicks’ article regarding the country’s supply chain debacle blamed the American consumer for buying too many things; it is the fault of the end buyer, as Hicks sees it.
He omitted mentioning anything at all about the elephant in the room, that being the Biden vaccine mandate, and the effect it will have on the number of truckers moving products to market. How many of these drivers will be thrown out of their job by a forced vaccine they for one reason or another refuse to take? Biden, Pelosi, Psaki, etc. are all on tape saying they did not have the power to lawfully mandate a vaccine, that that would be government overreach and unconstitutional, yet here we are, slipping down the slope of big-gov socialism in spite of those denials.
It seems no matter what the problem is, this inept administration will find some way to make it worse, and they prove that again and again. And like Hicks, they quickly blame some straw man for the hapless results they provide. One can see it coming that Santa is going to be the guilty party in December, a snowman straw man boogieman!
