GREENFIELD
Linda Kay Steele, age 72, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on November 20, 1948 to William H. &Mary M. (White) Steele.
Linda worked as an accountant for many years at several law firms and retired from Northwestern Railroad. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and watching old black and white movies.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Stacey (David) McManaway; sisters, Julia Gross; Joyce (Lawrence) Foster; grandson, Noah Jenkins; nieces, Julie (Donald) Latham; Theresa (Tony) Wallace; Mary (Tommy) Boyd; Jessica Love; great nieces, Shelly Robbins, Kelly Firestone; and great-nephew, Bill Wallace. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Carol Mathina; Nancy Parrish; and grandson, Jean-Marc Puch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Taylor officiating. Inurnment will follow on a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana.
